If you want to use this appearance for transmog, you must complete it in Legion! The Mage Tower Challenge is being removed in the Battle for Azeroth pre-patch. While better gear and more traits will make the challenge easier, there is still an element of skill. It will demonstrate your skill as a player. This Challenge is designed to be difficult. The first time you access the encounter, it will be free - but if you fail, all future attempts will cost 100 Nethershards.
